My birthday this year stunk. My kids were all sick, my in-laws didn't come and I was trapped at home way too long. My only outings were the doctors or walmart for drugs. Sorry,but I was feeling really down! Finally my kids were all back at school and my friend Julie planned a little birthday lunch. It was a great "pick-me-up" with some of my new friends from my ward: Stacy, Amy, Misty, Julie, and Jody. Thanks girls!
My hubby tried to make my birthday special he brought me a cupcake and hot chocolate and we ordered chineese food take-out..see how happy I am.
We also have a tradition every year to carve pumpkins for the FHE right before Halloween...and let me tell you this is everybody's tradtion here as the stores were crazy selling pumpkins like mad, you would have thought it was Black Friday that night! Katelyn loves cleaning out the pumpkin guts. And my kids love roasting the seeds too.
The girls finished their pumpkin, a werewolf....can you tell? and more Halloween celebrations this weekend with parties and trick or treating we can't wait!
