SURPRISE....SURPRISE!!

We went to pick up Avarie at her basketball tournament at Weber State on Saturday....little did she know we had a big surprise planned! We also picked up her Best Friend Abby at the airport....it was a little tricky for awhile when she started asking questions like...Where are we going? Why are we going to the airport? Who are we getting? cousin Kip? What??? cousin Kip...a.k.a....Abby! What a reaction we got!
I can't believe that EVERYONE knew and NOBODY spilled it! It is so fun having her here and Avarie is still wondering when she will wake up from dreaming! Thanks Kristi and Abby for making this a summer Aves will always remember! :)

Little bit country.....little bit rock and roll

One of the great things about living out of town a few miles is we have horses at our back fence! The kids LOVE to go out and feed them and pet them...and I like the fact that I don't have to take care of ...well you know....the mess. The big event in our town this week was David Archuleta's book signing. Katelyn and Kindra waited in a line that stretched down the street a few blocks and after a two hour wait...they met him, he signed our book and love was in the air...or um,well...Katelyn was floating in clouds the rest of the day. (At least Mr. Police officer was focused on the camera here.)
The meaning of "Crush" really shows in these girls faces.

running is therapy

Call me crazy, I never enjoyed running that much....somehow I now find it a form of therapy for me. This is my second year doing the Teton Dam Marathon and I have really loved it. I have been running 4 miles a day for the past few months and was able to beat my time from last year! It is a great rush!
After the race it has become tradition for the kids to do the climbing wall

20 years baby!

As we reflect back 20 years...some things have changed,...like our hairstyles...but most things have remained the same. We like to have fun together, and make each other laugh. We were able to do some of our favorite things in Park City as we celebrated our anniversary. Stayed at the Dakota Mountain Lodge in Park City... AMAZING!
and did some shopping....

some swimming....

and some fine dining! Looking forward to 20+ more years~!
