Jr. Miss and Birthday weekend

Avarie was in the Madison Jr Miss program this weekend. She has been working hard for 3 months. It was a fun night with 27 girls and she won a "Be your best self" award along with a little scholarhsip. She did amazing. We were so proud of her. Proud parents.
She was showered with lots of cards, flowers and well wishes from family and friends. Thank you. Our house looked like a funeral home, but smelled beautiful!
We tried not to have it get lost in the weekend....but Trey's birthday was Sunday. He loved his scuba gear and was anxious to try it out in the tub. He thought it was pretty cool he got a GI Joe guy named "Wet Suit" too.

Happy Birthday Trey! He is now 6 and loved his Sponge Bob Cake too! A busy and fun weekend!

More Basketball

We decided we needed a to get out of town. So, we went to Boise for the weekend to watch Boys State Basketball. Madison had about 2,000 fans there. It was amazing! They lost in overtime and ended up getting 4th place. We also got to see Moscow play! They got 2nd. It was so nice to be around crazy basketball fans and sunshine! See what I mean by crazy fans?
Of course no trip can be complete with out a traditional swim in the hotel pool. Trey has mastered his fear and can jump in all by himself! Way to go Trey.

Mitchel has his own style. It got out of control and some of those pictures I am unable to post. It just said no diving allowed, but anything else was fair game.

Just passing through....

We had grandma stop by on her way back home last week. It was so fun to be with her and hear about her winter adventures in St. George. I don't think she enjoyed the cold too much here- but we kept her busy and look forward to seeing her this summer. There is always basketball thrown into the mix of life. Mitch is playing great and is the rebounding machine!
Kindra loves when grandma comes. It is always a fight on where she sleeps. These roommates even had matching robes. cute!
