Run, Jump and Climb

Lots going on this month...so a quick recap. Avarie and I ran in the 5K Teton Dam Marathon. It was a great Dam Race, and Avarie got 1st in her age group! I finished somewhere in the middle of mine...but just glad I finished. Kindra ran in the Dam Fun Run and was one of the first girls to finish! Mitch has been playing lots of ball the last few weeks. He went down to Utah to play in a team camp at UVU. Lots of big guys, but as you can see, he knows how to take care of anyone who gets in his way!

Oh yes, and he also had time to be a Dam Volunteer at the Dam Marathon....I think he just helped out to get a Dam Shirt!

The little kids love the climbling wall that they have at the park during the race. Trey did get a little higher this year. What a great accomplishment!

GRADUATION!!

Jumping for joy!... it was Avarie's graduation last week and it was so exciting! Her friends wanted to do the High School Musical jump after the ceremony! HA HA so fun! It was exciting to see Avarie make the BIG SCREEN twice in one week! At the State High School Track Meet she ran the 100m and it was so awesome to see her name up on the board!

But most exciting was to see her up on the BIG SCREEN in the BYU-Idaho Center when she walked across the stage to graduate! All these memories of her school days came flooding back to me and do I mean FLOOD! I was just fine until that moments and then I realized...my little Avarie is all grown up!

The Family after the graduation

The whole gang that came to celebrate! Marc's parents, my mom, Marc's Aunt Mariel and Carol, Jackie and Justin and the babies. It was so nice to have family around again. We had a big BBQ and then Avarie was off to the all night party.... now she just needs a job! WE LOVE YOU AVARIE! Watch out BYU!!

Many Merry Moments in MAY

The Month of May has been VERY crazy for us! Lots to cram in the last few weeks of school! There has been DRAMA! Katelyn had the role of Juliet in her school play. This was a Juliet that had lost her dog.....yes, she was looking for her Romeo...her dog Romeo! HA HA

SINGING! Trey did great in his Tavaci performance. He just loves to sing and dance!

TRACK! What an exciting time for Avarie! She made it to the State Track Championship Meet in Boise! She got to run in the 100m and 4x100 relay! She did great and got 10th out of 16 in her 100m and her relay team placed 4th and medaled!

GRANDPARENTS! Most exciting of all was AVARIE'S GRADUATION! (more pictures of that in the next blog post!) We had both grandparents come! It was a great day!
