A Primary Parade

Our ward had a Primary Parade around the neighborhood to celebrate the 4th of July and Pioneer day. Trey and Kindra were very excited about dressing up and decorating their bikes plus being in their own little parade! It was sunny and fun for everyone!Kindra got all decorated up in Red, White and Blue. Trey wanted to dress as a pioneer/cowboy. He looked hot.... no really hot! He had on 2 shirts and a wool vest! 89 degrees outside! Can you say heat stroke!?
They had a little program before the parade and then everyone was off to ride. They had the sheriff lead the group and the bishop brought his horse to take kids for rides on. Luckily our block isn't too big. The kids were excited to get icecream after their ride!

How fun! Wish we had those things in our ward in AZ, but it just doesn't have the allure in the 115 degree weather. I love Rexburg this time of year!

By the way, we're in town and we'd love to see you guys sometime! When are you guys leaving for your vacation? Here's my email: kritso@gmail.com
