Pacers is a fun thing they do here at Hibbard Elementary School at recess. (Not in the dead of winter though :) They set up cones around the playground and everytime you walk, jog or run around you earn a red token. After 4 red tokens you get a gold token, which equals 1 mile. If the kids combine all their tokens for the year and have over 50 miles they get to go on a field trip! 82 kids out of over 200 made the trip this year! Kindra was so excited to go! They went to Bear World, and the Spray Park, where they also had a rock climbing wall and jumping castle. It was a fun reward for hard work! I wish they had that for grown ups!

Here she is on the rock wall. She did great! I would be very shakey!!! Way to go Kin!

This is at the Spray Park. Like an aquatic center, but no swimming pool underneath, it all just sprays up from the ground with slides and buckets. It is a fun place to cool down.

Here is Kindra with a bunch of her friends at the End of the year Field Day. They played relay games, had face painting and snow cones! No wonder they are all smiling! Schools out!!

Way to beat the heat! Love the pictures. I agree, they should have water parks and slides for the adults and provide free child care! Let's start one.
