A Sunday journey down south

A Memorable Memorial weekend. After church we loaded up the wagon...(I mean mini van)and headed south on the trail to visit our ancestors at the cemetary. We stopped at the park for a picnic and then made some cornbread and churned some butter before heading back home. (just kidding about the cornbread and butter). It made me grateful for the legacy that our family has and for all our grandparents and great grandparents have done. What wonderful examples. Above at the Oregon/California Trail park in Montpeilier Idaho. It rained the whole drive down. It was sunny for our little picnic. The kids were good sports to create a blogging moment.Geneva, Idaho-where Grandma and Grandpa Tuescher (Elvon's parents) are buried. Marc's middle name is Tuescher.

Georgetown, Idaho-where Grandma and Grandpa Skinner (Lynn's parents) are buried.
Skinner Canyon. Sherman's peak.
